Pubg mobile name change

September 16, 2019

Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) lit the planet on fire in 2017. It sold millions before it even left Early Access on Steam, and started the battle royale gaming craze we’re experiencing today. Not too long ago this FPS juggernaut landed on mobile.

In PUBG you play being a mercenary who parachutes, along with up to 99 other players, onto an island. Once they land, players scavenge for weapons, ammo, armor, and also other supplies in the last-man-standing 4 finger pubg mobile
death match. The game’s map starts large, but quickly shrinks since the electrical storm throughout the island collapses into progressively smaller circles, forcing players together because the game continues.

It’s a fairly easy concept with a great deal of room for complexity. You land on hawaiian isle with 99 other folks and just your fists. Find a gun and grow inside the circle. Last one standing wins. Is it worth playing? That’s what we aim to learn within this PUBG Mobile review.

Features

The Mobile version of PUBG has basically all the features of their PC counterpart, by incorporating exceptions. The game only offers PUBG’s original map, Erangel – an abandoned, vaguely Eastern European 8km x 8km island. Everything from your PC version of this map – from the abandoned military base towards the burned out nuclear power plant – has made it to the Mobile version of the game.

All the weapons, gear, and vehicles available when PUBG first exited Early Access are here too. The guns it’s added since are absent, as is the action’s second map, Miramar.

The game is very free. You can login as sometimes a guest or with Facebook to experience. Gameplay and daily login rewards will earn your account experience and battle points, which may be spent on crates which contain a random part of clothing for your character. Unlike inside the PC version, you don’t start with any available clothing, but gaining access to least a set of pants doesn’t take too much time.

The matchmaking works pretty quickly when queueing in squad, duo, or solo mode, though many from the options in the PC version are absent. Creating a private custom match doesn’t are most often possible just yet. There’s a menu option for creating a “room,” but it appears to be for creating boards, and also doesn’t manage to actually work yet.

I never had to hold back long to become matched which has a squad, though connection issues were pretty common. Every team I used had one or more player disconnect with the outset with the game. I never ran into any connection issues when I played, but one or more teammate was unresponsive in many games.

The game has built-in voice chat, which works, though it feels as though most players just use their phone’s speaker for the mic. If the mic is about the bottom of the phone, as they are common, it can result in some pretty annoying extra noise when players’ palms rub against it.

Gameplay

It’s all well and good if PUBG Mobile faithfully recreates the region’s geography and enables you to utilize all the guns and drive each of the cars from the original game, if the controls aren’t as much as the duty, everything falls apart.

To be clear: the controls in PUBG Mobile aren’t nearly as good or accurate since the PC version. Duh.

The game uses virtual joysticks for player movement and camera control, as well as a big button having a bullet for the right will shoot your gun. It’s a little clumsy to start with, truly feels pretty fluid after a few games.

It’s somewhat clumsy initially, but actually feels pretty fluid right after games.

The game provides a few different control options to make everything feel a lttle bit better and have rid with the awkwardness of hunting for buttons you can’t find by feel. A floating shoot button, which moves to wherever your thumb last touched, makes shooting as easy as tapping where your finger already is, rather than needing to reorient your hand to achieve the location that fires the gun. Items are automatically found, sorted, and equipped in game, which cuts down on some tedious menu management. The game now offers gyroscopic control options, which I’ve never enjoyed, but some can’t live without.

Even with those options, the action still feels a little clumsy. That clumsiness actually impacts what types of tactics and gameplay work. In the PC version, snipers could be pretty dominant. Erangel is a nice available map, there are very long periods of relatively even terrain dotted with hills. Finding a good vantage point to pick out people off isn’t hard. The precision of your mouse and keyboard makes this a whole lot easier.

Fights in PUBG Mobile are more oriented around mid- and close-range engagements. It’s difficult to hit people really consistently well away with this game. It’s even harder when accounting for bullet drop. Automatic weapons, along with shotguns, with their wider reticles, seem especially potent here.

Vehicles often play a greater combat role too. In the PC version of PUBG, vehicles be a liability since the map gets smaller — they’re big, loud, and challenging to miss. In PUBG Mobile, they’re actually pretty simple to miss. A fast moving target like a jeep, especially with someone inside passenger seat using a gun, can quickly ride round the perimeter with the circle and pick people off, even at the end of the game.

Performance

What makes PUBG a pretty good-looking game on PC appears missing inside Mobile version. The lighting and particle effects that truly sell the action’s look supply been virtually stripped out, and in all probability rightly so. Those sorts of elements might be pretty demanding for hardware. The result is a nice bland-looking recreation. The terrain, characters, and weapons all look about a similar as the PC version, just with muddier, lower-resolution textures.

The game ran pretty steady on my small LG G6, but it definitely had its great number of hiccups. I wouldn’t recommend playing on anything much older than that. I tried loading the sport on its minimum iOS option, the iPhone 5s, and it crashed before loading the principle menu every single time. I’d imagine Android phones of an similar age would struggle as much.

Regular gameplay ran fine most with the time. There were more often than not serious frame rate drops when parachuting down to the island, but that’s not totally shocking. It fixed after I landed, when the sport no longer were required to render the entire island.

The audio is fairly awful. In most versions of PUBG, hearing the direction and number of noises like gunshots and footsteps is quite crucial that you learning an enemy’s location. It’s a whole lot harder to inform these details within the mobile version. Footsteps were especially loud and all sounded just about exactly the same in my experience. Regardless of where these were, once someone was within 15 or 20 feet of me, all of it sounded the identical. It all sounded bad too.

Conclusion

PUBG Mobile is fun, however it’s not as tense since its PC counterpart. The stakes feel lower, also it misses from a good deal of what makes the PC version with the game so special — In essence, it feels just a little hollow.

PUBG has gotten numerous updates and improvements mainly because it launched. PUBG Mobile has gotten much the same treatment using a variety of major updates for the game, such as the new Sanhok map. Glitches, glitches and absolutely nothing but glitches! After a recent update I cannot grab items, it keeps trying to. I cannot climb in windows sometimes and my character freezes at the windows and won’t move away. Features like crouching work. I shot another character with an entire clip and absolutely nothing happened. Sometimes you’ve got a great game then you ruin it by trying to make it better. Leave it alone and create a whole other game if you believe the requirement to change things. Brutal! I may delete it!!
